Troubleshooting

Why can't I find my repository on that list?

There are a few possible causes for that: you may be using the wrong GitHub account in authentication or your repository may have less than 100 stars.

If you have linked the wrong GitHub account to your Open Collective account, you will need to manually revoke access from the current linked GitHub profile. To do so, procedure as follows:

  1. On GitHub, go to Settings and click on the Applications tab.

  2. Click on the Authorized OAuth Apps and look for Open Collective.

  3. Click on the three dots on the right labeled "Show me more options" and then on Revoke.

Or go directly to https://github.com/settings/applications.

Open Source Collective has a 100 stars requirement to apply. If your repository has less than 100 stars, it won't be listed as eligible and you won't be able to add as a collective.

My repository is listed but I can't create a collective (Error: We could not verify you are the admin of the GitHub organization).

There are too many repositories listed on my page. How can I find the right repository?

Use the search bar to filter repositories by name.
